Description
The Excel G-Logic Transit is a very agile, lightweight wheelchair built for comfort and easy handling. With its sporty looks and feel, and a 4 degree seat angle that supports a comfortable, ergonomic posture, it is a contemporary transit wheelchair that is as practical as it is good looking. Designed to be pushed by a carer or companion, it makes days out, appointments and trips to the shops simpler for everyone involved.
A lightweight folding wheelchair, easy to push
With its compact transit wheels, the G-Logic Transit is light and responsive to push, so steering it round the shops or along the pavement feels effortless rather than hard work. For anyone caring for a loved one, that lightness makes a real difference to the day.

Folds in seconds, fits almost anywhere
When it is time to travel, a smooth mechanism folds the wheelchair in one easy motion. Once folded, it is narrow enough to slot into the boot of a car, or into the storage areas on a bus or train. And because everything comes apart, the fold-down back, the folding frame and the detachable footrests, you can make it more compact still for longer journeys.
Crash tested, with a half-folding backrest
The G-Logic Transit has been crash tested, so the user can remain seated safely when travelling in an adapted vehicle. The half-folding backrest adds to its versatility, dropping down for easier transport and storage.
Thoughtful features throughout
This is a wheelchair designed around real, everyday use. Height-adjustable armrests make it easy to get comfortable at a table. Flip-up, swing-away footrests make transfers simple, and sideguards keep clothing away from the wheels. A lap belt and anti-tip wheels come as standard for peace of mind, and attendant brakes put the person pushing in easy control. The new-generation polyurethane tyres are leak-proof and puncture-proof, so there is one less thing to think about.
Built to last
With a maximum user weight of 113kg for the 40cm and 45cm seat widths, or 135kg for the 50cm width, the G-Logic Transit is a well made, dependable wheelchair that will give you many years of comfortable, reliable service. Made by Van Os Medical, it combines a smart, modern look with genuine everyday practicality.

Frequently asked questions
1What is a transit wheelchair?
A transit wheelchair is designed to be pushed by a carer, partner or companion rather than self-propelled. It has compact rear wheels and attendant brakes, making it light and easy to steer and ideal for days out and appointments.
2What is the difference between the transit and self-propelled G-Logic?
The self-propelled G-Logic has large rear wheels with hand rims so the user can push themselves. The transit version has compact rear wheels and is pushed by a carer, which makes it lighter and more compact. Both fold easily, are crash tested and share the same seat sizes.
3Is the Excel G-Logic Transit crash tested?
Yes. It is crash tested for in-vehicle transport, so the user can stay seated safely when travelling in an adapted vehicle.
4Does the transit wheelchair fold for the car?
Yes. It folds in one easy motion and is narrow enough for a car boot, and it comes apart further, with a fold-down back and detachable footrests, for even more compact storage.
5What seat sizes are available?
Three seat widths: 40cm, 45cm and 50cm. Maximum user weight is 113kg for the 40cm and 45cm widths, and 135kg for the 50cm width.
