Here at StrideOn, we understand that mobility, even in times of recovery, is an essential part of maintaining one’s mental and emotional wellbeing. That’s why we were thrilled to hold our recent photo competition, which offered our customers a chance to showcase their adventures and recovery journeys with their StrideOn Knee Walkers. Today, we’re excited to announce our competition winner, Carol Sherry from Ipswich, who truly captured the essence of resilience and positivity in her winning entry.
Winning Entry:
Carol’s winning photo features herself, her dog Mabel, and her trusty Orthomate, taken on the 1st of May during a delightful scoot down at the Waterfront in Ipswich. The picture beautifully captures a sense of freedom and joy, qualities that resonated with us and embodied the spirit of the StrideOn community.
A Lifesaver for Mental Health:
What sets Carol’s story apart is not just her delightful photo, but her uplifting experience with the StrideOn knee walker. “I am still using my StrideOn…” she shares, “…it is the best thing ever invented. I am able to go for scoots and not be stuck indoors. It really has saved my mental health.”
For Carol, her StrideOn knee walker has been a game-changer, offering her the ability to continue exploring her surroundings despite her recovery process. Her experience emphasises the StrideOn’s potential to not only provide physical support but also foster mental wellbeing by ensuring users can maintain their mobility and independence.
A Reward Well-Deserved:
We’re delighted to award Carol with the £200 prize for her inspiring photo and story. Her experience underscores our mission at StrideOn – to support our customers in their recovery journey and help them continue leading active lives.
Carol’s story is a testament to resilience and the positive impact of maintaining mobility during recovery. We’d like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Carol and her adorable companion, Mabel. We hope her story encourages others to discover the benefits of using a StrideOn knee walker and inspires more amazing entries for our future competitions. To all those on a recovery journey – don’t be afraid to try, to go out, to move, and most importantly, to keep living your life to the fullest!
